    overview

Each piece of Flower Head’s artwork establishes a deep connection to nature and with our daily lives. The subjects and artworks seamlessly intertwine with the fabric of our existence, emphasizing the pivotal interplay between nature and magic. In my design, I aim to preserve the raw essence found in Flower Head's creations, drawing inspiration from a scene in Anderson Matthew's Apocalypse Veil series. This particular piece encapsulates the return to nature and the re-establishment of a connection to truth, seamlessly blending elements of nature with the human form. For the packaging, I took inspiration from another recurring theme throughout Flower Head’s art pieces -- flowers. The extended line of the flower vine represents the continuation of growth and the passing of life and decay emphaszied through out the gallery's works. While the flower pattern exists on three sides of the package, it all folds up to one in the upper right corner, symbolizing the unity and wholeness of the world we live in.

Flower Head is an unfurling art space located in a two-car garage below a one-bedroom apartment in the El Sereno neighborhood of Los Angeles. For this project, I worked on creating merchandise for Flower Head Gallery that pairs with previous exhibitions.
